Miko were instructed by Makers to work alongside Potter Church and Holmes Architects to develop two entrance structures for the renovation of the Podium Car Park in the centre of Bath.
Specification of Work: Entrance Canopy
Client: Havelock Day Centre
Location: Hartlepool
Value: £28,845
Duration: 4 weeks
Miko Engineering worked with Havelock Day centre to create a diamond-shaped entrance canopy. The entrance canopy needed to not only be in keeping with the style of the building but also provide shelter for the minibuses that were transporting users to the centre.
The canopy which is 8 metres square has provided Havelock with the perfect combination of a functional and modern main entrance feature giving a great impression to anyone who is new to the centre.
This project was undertaken for Gus Robinson Construction.
